Michele Weiss

Hello and welcome to my practice! My name is Michele Weiss. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. Whatever brings you to therapy at this time, the therapeutic relationship is a safe space in which to explore, understand and work through life’s challenges in order to achieve a fuller, more satisfying life. Over the years, I have helped people dealing with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, marital challenges, difficult family dynamics, grief and loss and self-esteem issues.

In my private practice in Lakeview, I have a particular niche working with infertility, pregnancy loss and perinatal mood disorders (i.e., “the baby blues”). Specifically, I see women and couples using reproductive treatments such as in-vitro fertilization and egg donation; dealing with the heartbreak of miscarriages; and working through the difficult choices of family building. I also help my patients navigate the transition to parenthood and the roller coaster of emotions that many women experience after their baby is born.

Thank you for visiting my web site to learn more about me and my practice. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
